Vintage Judith Leiber Black Snake Skin Belt Cabochan Stones

Offered in my online vintage clothing store is a vintage Judith Leiber black snake skin belt with multi-colored cabochan stones set in gold-tone hardware. This luxurious designer belt is part of a collection recently obtained from the estate of an affluent KY doctor's wife. There are several more Judith Leiber belts available from this collection. Judith Leiber (born Judith Peto in 1921 in Budapest, Hungary) is a designer of luxury handbags. She was the first woman to join the handbag-makers guild in Budapest. After working as a handbag designer for other companies, Leiber founded her own business in 1963. These bags were sold at exclusive boutiques around the world and cost several thousand dollars. They have become a status symbol for many women including several of our Presidential First Ladies. Her belts are much sought after as well.
